The future is now. Together, Urban Outfitters and adidas Originals are excited to announce the launch of We the Future, the brands’ new and exclusive campaign featuring 19 up-and-coming creative minds that are shaping our cultural landscape.
Shot by Petra Collins, the campaign features activists, writers, designers, stylists, artists, photographers, musicians, dancers, and illustrators—each an inspiring creative working to craft a new tomorrow.
Full cast includes: Ebonee Davis, model, activist and writer; Alexis Jae, designer and stylist; Jorge Wright, stylist; Alexandra Marzella, artist; Braina Laviena, model and photographer; Miko Jasmine, musician; Carlotta Kohl, artist; Gabriella Bechtel, dancer; Lucas Bin, artist; Gabby Richardson, artist, curator and activist; Keisuke Asano, model and photographer; Lumia Nocito, photographer; Michael Bailey Gates, artist; Malachai Spivey, model; Ralph Souffrant, model; Simone Thompson, model; May Hong, model and illustrator; Rewina Beshue, designer and artist; and Michael Lockley, model.
The campaign will live across social and web platforms, with confessional-style Snapchats from the cast, video interviews, and blog features for every creative.
The adidas Originals + UO collection launches August 1st and will be available at urbanoutfitters.com and in select Urban Outfitters stores.
On August 25th, Urban Outfitters and adidas will celebrate the campaign and cast with an exclusive launch party, featuring an interactive 3D portrait experience, a user-generated art installation, and a musical performance from a to-be-announced artist. Held at Mack Sennett Studios, the event will be invite-only, with 90 tickets to be given away to consumers at 3 Urban Outfitters stores (Space 15 Twenty, UO Santa Monica, UO Melrose) on August 20 at 10am, on a first-come, first-served basis.
