The year was 1999 (MCMXCIX)…drinking 40’s at the corner bodegas, hanging out in the hood’, sporting Perry Ellis & Timbs, and growing-up in an era where music often blended with styles such as soul, funk and jazz; the rhythms that went on to define the classics of the late 80’s and 90’s.
This week, we’d like to introduce you to our #TrendingNEXT artist on the rise, SAINt JHN, a Brooklyn artist who revisits and relives that 90’s music scene in his new music video for “1999.” In the video, the JHN and his team take to the streets of Coney Island paying homage to the classic vibes of the second to last year of the 2nd millennium- that’s 1999- as he revisits his childhood memories in the best way possible- Livin’ it up and vibin’ with the crew. #TrendingNext #SaintJHN
