OSCAR BUZZ: The Nominations Are Trending!

In early January, The Academy Awards committee announced the list of candidates for The 85th edition of the Oscars [Oscars2013]. The dynamic duo Emma Stone and Seth MacFarlane, who are set to emcee the awards gala on February 24th, were tasked with publicizing the names of nominees from the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California.

Four Latinos were nominated overall at the 2013 Oscar nominations: Jose Antonio Garcia for BEST SOUND MIXING for ARGO, Paco Delgado from Barcelona nominated for BEST COSTUME DESIGN for LES MISERABLES, CHILEAN cinematographer Claudio Miranda for BEST CINEMATOGRAPHER in LIFE OF PI and “NO” from CHILE makes it in Best FOREIGN FILM directed by Pablo Larrain.
